The following speech by Al Gore provides IMO the best summation of what can be done about climate change. While his movie An Inconvenient Truth described all the dire consequences from global warming, the speech he recently gave at NYU provides very compelling evidence on why actions to mitigate / reverse global warming are not only possible, they in the end are actually opportunities in disguise.
